Senior IT Project Manager
100% Remote

SUMMARY
One of our largest banking clients is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join their team and be part of an enterprise banking merger and acquisition.

As a self-disciplined experienced IT Project Manager, you will manage multi-faceted medium to large projects that support the acquisition of Bank of the West by developing a plan, analyzing potential risks and benefits, working with your business partners to land on the best solutions, and driving the team to deliver through completion. As the Senior Project Manager you may also manage end to end workstream deliverables as part of large cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
• Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand problems, opportunities and recommend solutions to enable the achievement of organizational goals
• Build exceptional relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders
• Provide guidance to the project sponsor on the implementation and sustainment of projects, resulting in successful project outcomes
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including business, operational and technology deliverables while ensuring all project processes are completed
• Ensure change management plans are developed, socialized and consistently measured to deliver the expected project benefits and adoption
• Execute project requirements in governance frameworks focused on risk appetite, regulatory and compliance standards
• Develop all related project management artifacts, while complying with applicable enterprise standards
• Participate in reviews or inspections, in collaboration with the project team, to ensure the quality of work products
• Manage complexity across business value, technology, and interaction models
• Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
• Monitor and control project deliverables, making recommendations and adjustments to the overall project plan to achieve deliverables
• Understand project interdependencies and demonstrate critical thinking that proactively identifies project risks and establishes effective risk mitigation from the outset
• Demonstrate ownership and commitment by holding themselves accountable for the identification and resolution of project problems
• Lead and/or represent the project in team meetings, governance forums and inter-department forums
• Adhere to Bank risk, regulatory and compliance controls

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a PM in a banking/financial services environment
• Experience supporting data analytics, data conversion, or data mart projects
• Must have experience overseeing 2-3 projects at once while managing million-dollar budgets
• Must have managed projects through full implementation including M&A projects
• Forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Salesforce or MS Dynamics preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
