The Role

We are looking for a software engineer with a learning mindset who is passionate about using the latest technology, frameworks, and design patterns to solve challenging problems in the Marketing Technology and Communication Technology space. You will be responsible for hands on development of new software solutions along with enhancing and supporting our existing solutions. Software Engineers at Fidelity Investments pride themselves on their experience, leadership, and ability to establish positive relationships across teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent field
- 5+ years experience with hands-on development using Customer Communication Management tools like Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream
- Hands on experience designing and developing communication templates in Quadient Designer and Quadient Interactive
- Experience in Quadient Scaler
- Quadient certifications are a plus
- Working experience in OpenText Exstream
- Understanding of system development methodology and DevOps practices
- Experience with hands-on development using Java, JavaScript, and/or NodeJS
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Experience working with Git based version control system
- Strong communication skills and desire to collaborate
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology
- Drive to take initiative, ownership of your tasks, and deliver results
The Team
The Marketing Technology focuses on delivering outstanding customer experiences through various Marketing and Communication channels such as web, mobile, email, text, push notification, or printed mail. We support multiple business units within Fidelity and send out millions of communications per month to our customers.
