Role- PRODUCT OWNER – JOB DESCRIPTION/Business analyst
Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience
- You have at least 5 years of product management, business analyst and/or equivalent work experience with a good understanding of the Agile methodology and the business acumen to prioritize competing user stories.
- Property & casualty insurance industry experience is helpful
- Knowledge of SQL, Databricks, Microsoft Power Apps experience a plus
- Experience with large-scale insurance data integration and reporting/analytics.
- Are experienced in working with Azure DevOps or like system to manage backlogs and user stories.
- Scrum, project management, product owner, business analysis and/or lean sigma certifications are a plus..
Qualities to Ensure Success in a Fast-paced Environment within a B2B Startup
- You have a distinct knack for cutting through ambiguity to identify the core priorities.
- You have strong organizational skills and a consistent track record of delivering commitments on time.
- You build and gain trust quickly.
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience driving product management and delivering commercially viable products that yield organizational growth
Skills:
- Insurance domain Certification
- Thorough Understanding of Policy Admin, Claims Admin systems
- Thorough Understanding of Insurance Broking functions
- Self-directed
- Communicates clearly
- Experience with JIRA, or similar tool for organizing development requirements
- Experience writing detailed user stories with workflow diagrams and data models
- Experience storyboarding and coordinating with UI designers and software engineers
- Experience with Agile development
- basic SQL queries understanding (preferred)
- Brokerage Experience (Preferred)
