The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations & Network Planning is accountable for developing and executing Columbia Sportswear Company's supply chain network planning roadmap and the specific strategies, business processes and leading and/or influencing teams that will yield best in class supply chain operations capabilities. Additionally, this person will lead the ongoing development and updates for our multi-year SC network planning and modeling roadmap.

This leader will emphasize fulfilment, speed, and agility in direct support of the omni-channel strategic imperative and continued growth in sales; they will develop and deliver a supply chain network planning vision and operating model that defines the future aspirations, initiatives/tactics, investments, and organizations required to fundamentally transform current capabilities.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Lead and strategically influence omni-channel supply chain operations functions that delivers on the forward-thinking strategies.
  • Build powerful strategic alliances and collaborate across brands, departments, and regions.
  • Provide thought leadership and facilitate cross-functional problem solving with impacted operations domains (regions, brands, stores, ecommerce, distribution, logistics, fulfillment).
  • Introduce advanced supply chain continuous improvement and distribution/logistics tools/methodologies/systems to help the business deliver results in customer fulfillment, quality, cost, inventory management.
  • Drive continuous improvements in omni-channel fulfillment cost as a percentage of sales.
  • Lead capabilities and forward-thinking strategies for distribution capacity constraints.
  • Lead capabilities to impact end to end SC processes impacting things like freight optimization and inventory optimization models.

YOU HAVE

  • 10+ years’ experience in supply chain, with a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing a team
  • Experience driving change in the supply chain, particularly related to network optimization and fulfillment capabilities
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and translate strategic vision into an operational roadmap
  • Creative problem solver
  • Background in apparel and footwear, retail, or related industry, with experience in a large, matrix organization
