Job summary:
As Greene, Tweed embarks on its digital transformation journey, this position will have experience in both Microsoft Cloud Technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD as well as on premise server, storage infrastructures and operating systems environments. This position will implement and support modern compute, storage, directory, backup, monitoring, and cloud services in a team environment. This position will develop and execute IT Processes globally including implementation, operation, backup, patching, monitoring, and vendor management. This position will act as a Level 3 support to IT operations staff regarding Microsoft 365, server, messaging, server, storage, and virtual environments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of Office 365 / Azure AD and cloud service strategy and provide on-going administration and account maintenance of the Office 365 tenant, deploy new service offerings and provide resolution to issues.
  • Act as the hands-on Office 365 / Azure AD SME supporting Active Directory, certificates, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Outlook Mail, and other MS tools.
  • Support on global on-premise Active Directory and its supporting infrastructure including, DC, replication, LDAP, MFA, SSO, directory synchronization with O365 and Azure, and backup/restore/disaster recovery of AD
  • Support and maintain general Microsoft Technologies from installation to retirement including the following: Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2019, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, RDS, FTP, DFS, Network Printing Queues and File Shares.
  • Management and maintenance of Office 365 hybrid messaging environment, with Barracuda mail management.
  • Manage and maintain core technologies including storage hardware, storage network, VMWare, (install, patching, upgrades and support)
  • Develop and execute IT Service Management procedures and supporting technologies that provide operational support such as Backup (BackupExec, NetBackup, Veeam), remote access (i.e. RDP, VPN), Infrastructure Monitoring and Management (i.e. Netwrix, Observium), patching, licensing, support agreements and routine maintenance.
  • Lead or participate on project teams related to supporting requirements including but not limited to Quotes on New Hardware/Software, Upgrades, New Technology Implementations/Conversions/Migrations.
  • Establish or work with established vendors globally to support or maintain any Server, SAN, OS, Network, Tools required.
  • Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, implement and document technical solutions including design artifacts, knowledge guides, and operating procedure
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience, Microsoft Certifications a plus
Skills and Experience:
  • 7 + years enterprise environment experience, preferably global
  • Proven competence (7+ years) with Microsoft Server Management, Microsoft Exchange Server Management Architect level experience, Microsoft Azure Administration, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, PowerShell, MS Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Azure AD Connect, Windows Server
  • Proven experience (7 + years) IT support services, Storage, Disaster Recovery (tools and process)
  • 7+ years of related experience successfully installing, maintaining, upgrading and migrating Windows and Liunx Server environments
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Server (Physical , VMWare and Hyper-V), LAN and related technologies, gained through a combination of on the job training and advanced technical training in Windows Server Administration, O365 Administration, Networking, Hardware administration and other job related technologies.
  • Experience scripting languages for automation
  • Ability to travel domestically and some internationally as needed; up to 5% of the time.
