Amentum is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Senior Engineer supporting the Navy's Program Executive Office (PEO), Unmanned and Small Combatants (USC) Program. PEO USC requires functional and strategic support in the area of program planning and management; Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process; systems engineering; test and evaluation engineering; life cycle engineering and support; human systems integration (HSI), including manpower, personnel and training; analysis and engineering; configuration and data management; ship construction, modernization, and sustainment; and combat systems development.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Program analysis, development, control, and monitoring support to the PEO LCS Program Managers
- Provide programmatic support for PEO LCS goals, objectives and acquisition strategies
- Provide expertise to assess and provide guidance on new and existing acquisition policies and procedures
- Provide Information Assurance (IA) support services to the PEO USC, its program offices, and IA Manager/ACIO/CIO
- Provide analytic and engineering services to include assisting the Government in writing draft technical acquisition documentation, independent assessment of sensor and weapon performance, test planning/evaluation, CONOPS development/evaluation, system and architecture trade studies, and end-to-end effectiveness assessments
- Provide analyses on issues facing technical and engineering issues such as fleet or new ship introduction and in-service issues
- Support, assist, and advise in the planning, scheduling, execution monitoring, and timely reporting of testing
- Support, develop, provide analysis, draft environmental assessment in support of contractor, developmental, and operational tests and evaluation events
- Provide analysis, assistance and support in the development and maintenance of Logistics Resource Funding Plans, or equivalent.
- Develop, review and update logistics plan, products or analyses to include ALSP, LCSP, training curricula, training materials, manpower requirements, maintenance plans, supply support management plans, technical manuals/technical drawings, and reliability/maintainability analyses.
- Provide expert acquisition technical support in the primary logistics areas to include maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, configuration management, design interface, facilities, PHS&T and related areas.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years experience in engineering or scientific discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline or preferred experience
- Ability to work independently, as well as to lead teams to analyze and resolve problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 365
- Able to efficiently use the latest reporting and analysis tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 15 years experience in engineering or scientific discipline
