Position requires applicant to be on-site full-time/hybrid in our office located in Saratoga Springs, NY

A Senior Systems Network Architect develops, implements, and maintains network configuration as per an organization’s needs. This includes but is not limited to switching, routing, wireless, firewalling, NAC, and SD-WAN. The individual assesses the requirements of customers and businesses, designs network architecture, selects networking solutions, and develops and implements configurations according to best practices. Architects provide technical recommendations and configurations for network technologies in all of our client's accounts, including mid-market, enterprise, public and private sector.

An architect will also assume the role of a technology expert in addressing network issues related to other systems and operations inside of the client's customers. They partner with team members to strategize, develop, lab, implement, and document network infrastructure. The Network Architect will be responsible for mentoring and providing thought leadership to their other Network Engineers. Architects need to have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, in addition to organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Define an integrated network architecture (hardware, software, cloud) that addresses Reliability, Scalability, Power, Performance, and Security requirements.
• Architecting solutions for scale, resiliency, and maintainability
• Documenting key networking requirements for pre-sales opportunities and production environments
• Work with our sales, presales, and engineering teams to build and test and operationalize solutions.
• Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities and risk mitigation.
• Lead Strategic IT initiatives around networking, including investigation, configuration, and deployment.
• Implement Large Scale Solutions for enterprise clients.
• Generate network documentation for existing infrastructure and infrastructure implemented during client projects
• Participate in sales meetings with client Sales representatives to consult with current and prospective clients, gather customer requirements, and develop solutions
• 10+ years experience as a network engineer/architect
• CCIE preferred
