We specialize in areas of RWIC/railroad flagging, project management, observation and inspection, real estate, rail design and engineering, training, and media production. We are seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join our growing team.


Ideally, candidate will reside in close proximity to one of our office locations, if further away, expect increased travel:


  • CA – Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside
  • TX - Irving/Las Colinas
  • NE – Omaha
  • FL – Jacksonville
  • IL – Chicago
  • UT – Layton/Salt Lake City


The Senior Track Engineer will be responsible for design preparation and review of railroad track plans, specifications, and cost estimate documents for the design and supporting construction of railroad track projects. This includes both self-performing the work and supervising other engineers and designers in performing the work. The job location is flexible in the U.S. The Senior Engineer independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of rail track engineering. This position uses advanced techniques in the modification or extension of theories and practices of sciences and disciplines to complete assignments. The ability to work on a major project or several projects of moderate scope with complex features is also typical and required in this position.

Minimum qualifications:


  • BS degree in civil engineering
  • Professional engineering license in U.S.
  • 8+ years of prior engineering experience
  • 4+ years of railroad and transit track design experience
  • Knowledge of rail/transit industry standards and guidelines
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills


Preferred qualifications:


  • MS degree in civil engineering
  • Experience producing drawings with CAD software (MicroStation preferred)
  • Experience leading technical discipline team
