Job description
The Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for the overall management, implementation and success of key real estate transactions for the McKesson portfolio specific to the USON portfolio. They set objectives, develop strategies for, and manage the service provider account transaction management team for all assigned lease, sale or purchase transactions.
This Manager establishes strategies and plans to meet changing national and local needs and recommends changes to policies and processes to reflect updated, best in class approaches. They provide direction and help set objectives for outside legal team where applicable, works with peer group within MRE and works in collaboration with the real estate relationship management and project tracking teams to ensure that real estate leasehold and or fee estates are acquired or disposed of in accordance with target objectives, budgets and schedules. Interacts frequently with corporate and business unit executives.
Will have some responsibility for service provider account management and operational process improvements. Provides support in completing mergers and acquisitions due diligence for assigned projects.
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of corporate real estate experience in delivering transactions and project management (healthcare a plus)

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$99,500 - $165,900

Create Strategic Real Estate Plans & Solutions: 15%
- Collaborates with colleagues across all real estate functions -e.g., Business Enablement (CRM), Project Management, Design, Legal, Facilities, Real Estate Finance, and Lease Administration to deliver strategic real estate solutions
- Develops and implements short-term and long-range real estate plans and compliance with budgets based on McKesson goals
- Completes due diligence evaluation of merger and acquisition target company real estate portfolios, prepares the related due diligence reports and directs the integration of the target portfolio into the McKesson system
- Provides support in completing mergers and acquisitions due diligence for assigned projects
Real Estate Transaction Delivery & Management: 35%
- Assists in the development, implementation, and communication of policies and procedures as they relate to the real estate transaction management function
- Supports the planning and analysis of decisions as they relate to the area of real estate transaction management
- Represents McKesson on key real estate transaction matters and actively directs external brokerage teams
- Directs the preparation of contracts, leases, deeds, mortgages, options, and other legal documents required to execute plans and programs
- Prepares and presents management reports, presentations and proposals related to real estate transaction management
- Supports and partners with various BU’s to deliver real estate transactional services that align with clients goals, capitalize market opportunities, and drive efficiency
Vendor & Client Management: 25%
- Maintains and enhances relationships with preferred partners -e.g., landlords and developers
- Manages and partners with service provider to drive exceptional client solutions
- Oversees service provider-led transactions within assigned region
Compliance: 15%
- Ensures adherence to legal requirements and laws and ensures all actions are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Provides oversight of partner compliance to MSA and achievement of CPIs
Financial Planning: 10%
- Assists in budget preparation and directs long-range studies, and financial analyses for real estate and transaction management activities
- Responsible for accurate reporting of transaction financial and non-financial impacts on the business for all management presentations
