Program: Family Visitation Center

Job Type: Full Time, Non Exempt

Location: Kapaa, Hawaii

The Senior Visitation Specialist will provide and monitor visitations to families identified and/or referred by the Judiciary, attorneys, mediation programs or themselves as needing such services related to family violence and child maltreatment. This position communicates with family members, other staff members, Program Leadership, and service providers. In collaboration with the Program Supervisor, this position will conduct data collection and program reporting, and will assist in the training of visitation staff as required.

Education / Training:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, counseling, or another related field, preferred.

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Experience:

Two (2) years’ experience in direct services to children and families at high risk, required. Experience involving interaction with child abuse and neglect, or domestic violence and nonviolent de-escalation techniques preferred.
