Job description

Looking for well rounded front of house staff to perform multiple duties. Ideal candidates thrive in a team oriented environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive work ethic required. Must be able work efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and seating guests in a genuinely friendly and inviting manner
• Taking and serving orders in a timely and courteous manner
• Accommodating guest's special requests pertaining to dietary restrictions and food allergies with manager assistance

• Accurately answer guest's questions
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
• Thorough menu knowledge - must be able to describe ingredients and preparation in detail in addition to making food and drink recommendations

• Answer telephones
• Make change and process credit card payments using POS system

• Taking and preparing phone orders with no room for error
• Packaging takeout orders

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and complete cleaning as assigned

• Assisting in the cleaning, clearing, and resetting of tables

*MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY INCLUDING DAYS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND SOME HOLIDAYS*

Hours are worked in West Haven & Guilford -- must have transportation to BOTH locations.

Part time to start - full time available based on performance
