Job Description:

What you will do in this role:

• Work as a team player with NowLearning Engineering Teams to deliver consumer-grade UI experiences on the Platform.
• Be a Developer for
• Build high-quality, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications that are used bySecurity and other Engineering teams.
• Learnings first: Get to learn and work on the latest Application & Platform features.
• End-to-end ownership: Directly interact with the users & product owners, innovate & identify opportunities for continuous enhancements, and drive solutions until deployment.
• Independently design, code, and debug complex applications that are integrated with multiple systems.
• Explore the latest features and evaluate them for adoption.

Hiring Manager Notes:

What skills are more flexible that can be learned on the job?

• Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
• Comfortable coding in more than one language such as native Javascript, Java, Python, Go etc.
• Understands various design patterns, and best practices.

To be successful in this role must have:

• Passion for developing applications & solving problems.
• 6+ years of experience in Application development.
• Designed & developed Scoped applications from scratch.
• Extensive knowledge of Scripting & technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, ATF, MID Server, integrating with external systems, etc.
• Ability to develop UI-rich applications using Service Portal, Workspace, Now Experience UI Framework, Jelly, and other front-end technologies along with the knowledge of CSS & responsive design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
