You are the face of the restaurant during your shift and are responsible for ensuring each guest has a remarkable experience.


Being our Shift Leader requires you to work fast-paced in our high volume restaurant. Shift Leader runs shifts in the front-of-house or back-of-house, helps train employees, and supports the Manager in Charge for each shift. While the Shift Leader is a management position, we expect our managers to be willing to help in all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Run shifts without any supervision
  • Supports the senior leadership team by completing any delegated tasks
  • Organize personnel on shift, and challenge the team to strive for excellence for hospitality, speed of service and cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Takes action to solve customer issues or complaints as they arise
  • Execute proper security and cash handling procedures with team
  • Leads by example, using our CORE 4 model to serve guests: make eye contact, share a smile, speak enthusiastically and make a connection
  • Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all reporting employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
  • Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks for the specific area the Shift Supervisor oversees
  • Responsible for inventory & facilities management
  • Complete understanding of each key position for all shifts in both the front and back of the store
  • All other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years or older
