Bowman-Morton is looking for a self-motivated team member to help primarily with Shipping & Receiving, but also help out around the shop in a variety of areas. The successful candidate must be detail oriented, capable of working with his/her hands daily in a shop environment. Power tools and some machine tools used as well as general shop maintenance, cleaning of product and any other task needed to get the job done. This is a very important position on our team! We’re not looking for someone who just wants to get their foot in the door! We need someone who is looking for a career and an incredible work family.

The job will include Shipping & Receiving, cleaning and painting parts, and general shop work. General shop work would include operating machines, organization and general cleanup of your work area and the shop.

• Mathematics - Must use and understand basic math in shipping/receiving as well as basic fabrication.

• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to solve problems, make corrections, and identify areas of improvement.
• High level of organizational skills, able to stay focused and complete projects
• Assist and support other departments
• Being a curious learner who is flexible and hungry

Experience And Education: Graduate high school. Experience working with hands, hand tools, power tools, tape measure etc.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks
• Must be able to work at heights and/or confined spaces
• Forklift and scissor lift operations

All team members have to pass a background screening prior to beginning work. Prior offenses may not prevent employment as long as they're disclosed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
