Job description

The Woodlands branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a graphics printing company in the Alvin area on their search for their next Shipping and Receiving Associate. This is a full time, temp to hire position with a reputable company offering benefits upon permanent placement!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delegating workflow to teammates and working alongside staff to facility warehouse processing
  • Ensure inventory items are received, shipped, inventoried, and recorded
  • Forklift operation to move material
  • Utilize a pallet jack to stage wrapped pallets
  • Staging and wrapping pallets to prepare for shipping
  • Inventory control – ensuring that items received are documented and stored correctly
  • Loading/unloading shipments

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of Shipping and Receiving experience
  • Previous experience in warehouse leadership is a plus!
  • Detail oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Must work with a sense of urgency – role is hands-on
  • Ability to lift up-to 50lbs repeatedly

There is an opportunity for one Shipping & Receiving Associate role and one Shipping & Receiving lead role.

In order to qualify for the lead role you must have supervisory experience.

PAY: $17-$27/hour (Depending on role and experience)

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
