Job description

• Is aware of and complies with all GMP and OSHA requirements to perform the essential functions of the job safely.
• Provides orientation and training of new Warehouse personnel.
• Prior to the start of each shift, checks with the Warehouse to verify that all equipment is operating properly; and reports any mechanical issues to Maintenance management.
• Performs the necessary functions of a computerized inventory control system ensuring accurate inventory, order picking, shipping transactions and all related documentation.
• Assists with the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventories.
• Assists Quality Assurance in the sample collecting process.
• Informs management of complaints and/or rule infractions.
• Operates Warehouse equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

The position requires ability to read, write and understand the English language, and have basic math skills in order to satisfactorily complete job requirements.
