Compensation Package:
$33.2K / year
+ Medical, Dental, Vision + 401(k) match plan, paid time off.
Wages start at $16/hour, depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Parker Trutec contributes to medical benefits and 401(k) that available after 60 days of employment. Training and career development support provided. Vacation days accrue from day one.

Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Technician position is responsible for verifying and logging all out-bound goods, being aware of customer preferences for loading procedures, and moving product throughout the plant.
Qualifications

):
- Trainability
- Good analytical skills; good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in coordination of multiple job tasks involving several process steps and several work shifts
- A record of dependability and good attendance
- Basic computer skills with Word/Excel/Outlook
- Must work with a high degree of accuracy
- Must represent Parker Trutec well with customers and their trucking firms
- Must have (or be willing to get) a forklift license and have safe forklift skills
- Flexible in working hours and days of the week, as business demands; Must be able to work weekends
Duties
(include but are not limited to):
- Using reference material, be able to identify all parts, verify part numbers, and production numbers
- Verify and log all out bound goods
- Document discrepancies, overages, and shortages
- Be aware of customer preferences for loading procedures
- Ensure that all checklists required are completed
- Communicate to the team leader any changes in procedures so that operation standards can be adjusted
- Prepare area for the next shift
- Participate in the 5S Program
- Move product throughout the plant including the loading and unloading of trucks
- Input data into the computer on a daily basis
- Band and stretch wrap product as needed
Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
