Job Title: Shipping Worker
FLSA: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Reports To: Shipping Supervisor
Location of work: Onsite in Russellville, KY
Job Overview:
The Shipping Worker has a versatile role working with Covert Cameras, within FeraDyne Outdoor's shipping and receiving department. This position works closely with others to pull, pack, and palletize orders safely and efficiently. As a member of a small team, other duties will be required including some assembly or finishing of products prior to shipping, training teammates, cleaning, and other duties as assigned. A strong candidate for this position will be self-motivated, likes to collaborate with others, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment with considerable physical activity throughout the day.
Job Responsibilities:

• Read and follow pick tickets with attention to detail
• Pack products for shipping
• Palletize products and build orders safely and efficiently
• Confirm order and shipping information for accuracy
• Maintain department inventory
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to meet daily shipping goals
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse work area
• Drive a forklift following on the job training
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Effectively communicate with others, verbally and in writing
• Handle sharp cutting tools safely
• Must be able to work overtime occasionally when required during busy season

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience is a plus

Physical Qualifications:

• Lift up to 50 pounds, at times repetitively
• 8 hours of physical activity per day including: standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and walking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
