Job description
We currently have openings for eager and dependable shop assistants to work hand in hand with our technicians in our machine shop and materials laboratory.
Hands on training will be provided for all responsibilites of this position by our knowledgeable technicians and management team. Responsibilites will include, but are not limited to the following:
-Machining coupons
-Cross-sectioning of samples
-Sample Preparation of coupons
-Receiving, entering and reviewing of orders
-Handling of parts and components ranging up to 40lbs
-Maintaining a safe and clean workstation
-Collaborating with team members
-Quality assurance of documentation
-Occasional customer service
This position is entry level and has open opportunites to grow within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
