Description:

The candidate will be working in a busy manufacturing space. Mostly they will be setting shelves, working with struts, keeping the shop clean (organizing, fitting bins, doing putaways) and focusing on helping journeymen with basic industrial electrical tasks. The candidate will have the runway to work towards an electrical apprenticeship if they show aptitude in the role..

Contractors will be taught different machinery and tasks as they develop in the facility.

Pay - Depending on experience

SHIFTS:

Dayshift, 6AM-4:30PM, M-Th, 4 10's, OT after 40

Afternoon, 4PM-2AM, M-Th, 4 10's, OT after 40

OT opportunity both during the week and weekends.

Qualifications:

• General labor - 1 year
• Manufacturing facility experience
• Sit-down Forklift experience is considered an asset
• Cleaning
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Interest in the skilled trades
• Overhead crane operating experience considered an asset
• Hand and power tools
• Can read a tape measure
• Strong communication
• Strong attention to safe work procedures
