Job Title: Fill-In Shuttle Driver CDL A- Intrastate

Job description:

We are looking for an individual to cover time off requests/call ins from our full-time drivers. This will include having to switch shifts from time to time to cover where needed as we run trucks 24 hours a day, this is a shuttle run that will not include a lot of road time but will include backing into the same handful of docks several times a shift.

When not driving you would be expected to work inside the shop in the shipping and receiving department on 2nd or 3rd shift (your choice) running a hi-lo, scanning bins, recording inventory using a computer, loading, and unloading trucks, and/or other job duties to keep the department running smoothly.

We work 8-hour shifts Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend work. There may be times you are asked to come in early or stay after for addition help in either the warehouse or driving the trucks.

40 or more hours a week

$22 + $1 shift premium starting wage

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in truck driving

2. Commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A Required)

3. High school diploma and/or GED equivalent

4. Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

5. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents, procedure manuals, and safety literature.

6. Possess adequate oral communication skills to communicate well with other team members

7. Possess the ability to process basic math calculations

8. Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Truck Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
