Full Time Position for Sign Pruction at Harrington Graphics

Harrington Graphics is a full service sign company specializing in signs, banners, vehicle graphics, wall and window graphics, posters, decals and event signage. We are family business with nearly 40 years experience in Virginia Beach. We are passionate about sign making and are seeking driven employees to share our passion.

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, organized and energetic person with sign experience to fill an immediate opening as Production and Printer Specialist.

Sign Production duties include:

-Cutting vinyl, weeding, and masking vinyl for installation

-Laminator operation

-Work load organization

-Fabrication/installation with multiple forms of sign media

-Large format printer operation; cleaning, maintaining printers, and printer monitoring

-Software RIP operation and color correction

-Finishing work such as sewing hems and installing grommets

Requirements:

-Valid driver’s license, with good driving record

-Cell phone, with ability to text and take photos as required on the job

-Punctual and dependable

-Able to follow work orders as directed

-Keen eye for detail

-Able to handle and work with small power tools, knife and tape measure

-Able to lift 50 lbs.

-Perform physical duties common with sign installation

-Maintain a clean and organized work area

-Sign shop experience preferred. We are willing to train the right person

-Knowledge of design software and their functions helpful, although this is not a design position

Compensation:

- $15 to $20 an hour DOE

- PTO and paid holidays

- Option for medical and dental insurance assistance for full-time employees after 60 days employment

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
