Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Magmasoft Software to create casting process simulations and evaluate the performance, quality, and manufacturability of new and existing designs.

2. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to optimize casting processes, minimize defects, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

3. Develop and implement process improvements based on simulation results, including adjustments to gating, risers, and process parameters.

4. Identify potential casting defects, such as porosity, shrinkage, and hot spots, and recommend corrective actions to prevent their occurrence in production.

5. Assist in the development of new casting techniques, materials, and processes to enhance product performance and expand manufacturing capabilities.

6. Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams, addressing casting-related issues and ensuring the successful integration of new processes and technologies.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of casting simulations, process improvements, and related data, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

8. Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in casting simulation and process development, applying this knowledge to enhance our capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.

9. Participate in the development of training programs and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members in casting simulation and related topics.

10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the casting process through the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics, driving the optimization of quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 year of experience in casting simulation, or similar course-work, preferably in the casting industry.

3. Strong expertise in Magmasoft Software and other casting simulation tools.

4. Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

7. Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

9. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, and ASTM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
