Greenfield is looking for a Site General Manager to join our growing team.

The Site General Manager will develop and oversee operational activities for the site within the SC&I Business Unit. This position will develop and execute innovative process solutions to achieve world class safety, quality and production targets, and financial performance through collaboration with various departments across the organization as needed. It will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

General Accountabilities:

· Build and maintain a people first culture dedicated to hiring and retaining the highest quality team members through a structured development system designed and implemented in collaboration with People & Culture

· Manage compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and alignment with industry standards including but not limited to TTB, FDA/GMP, EPA, OSHA, DOT, GHS, PSM, and USDA

· Manage operation activities to meet safety, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing key process indicators and ensure all necessary company resources and services are available and effectively deployed

· Develop and track key process indicators designed to ensure an unmatched customer experience

· Develop new process capabilities focused on business development, optimization, quality improvement, and cost efficiency

· Evaluate operation capital needs over a 2-to-5-year time horizon and manage capital deployment

· Evaluate and recommend policies and programs improves the organizations competitive position

General Responsibilities:

· Partner with People & Culture to develop and execute strategies designed to hire the highest quality talent available and retain through structured development and mentoring.

· Establish, communicate, and maintain the plant vision

· Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving.

· Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction.

· Work with functional leaders to guide and support the plant.

· Formulate and recommend policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

· Direct and coordinate various programs essential to manufacturing process (safety, training, cGMP, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.)

· Develop key performance goals and manage the performance of staff

· Develop and maintain responsibility for annual operations budgets.

· Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and permits

· Establish and maintain positive corporate citizenship through community organizations and the media.

· Develop and maintain a rolling 5-year site capital spend plan

· Ensure approved capital projects are properly evaluated and executed to deliver the expected return on investment

· Identify new processes and technology with potential to advance safety, quality, and efficiency

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business is preferred

· A minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management experience (preferably in chemical plants).

· Experience with Batch Processing & Packaging of flammable liquids/solvents is preferred

· Highest regard and respect for employees, customers, and suppliers

· Strong Business Acumen, able to develop a site business plans aligned with the commercial strategy

· Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain experience and exposure is preferred

· Experience working effectively within cross-boundary relationships

· Self-motivated team player with experience and proven record of managing teams, developing employees, and achieving results through others.

· Experience with Lean and Six Sigma.

· Thinks outside of the box, change agent

· Open and straight-forward in communications on all levels.

· Promotes the communication of clear expectations, performance standards and accountability at all levels.

· Comfortable providing timely and accurate feedback and support to his/her direct reports to motivate and develop them to their highest potential.

· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
