We are looking for a Polysomnography/Sleep Tech to join our team in Waterville! This position provides care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.

Job Description:
Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test. Interviews patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
Performs testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted.
Educates patients about sleep disorders and available resources.
Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs and replacements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Certified as a Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Non-Registered Sleep Tech would require ASTEP program after hire (within 90 days of hire) or complete training in an accredited polysomnography program within 1 year. Candidates will need to provide certificate of completion from Sleep Technologist Program.
