In this career, your responsibilities include; diagnosing all small engines, determining the best solutions, and making any necessary repairs to ensure all small engine/ power tools are working properly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, keeping all tools and small engines operational, clean and safe
- Exercising some judgment and discretion in resolving issues or making repairs
- Good communication skills
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40-50 lbs
- Knowledge in small engine repairs is a must
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- 2 years experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to repair power tools such as; jumping jacks, saws, blowers, etc
- Ability to repair 2 cycle & 4 cycle engines
- Must be able to report & work at the shop in Wildwood
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
