About The Role

As the Social Media Content Producer, you will play an integral role in growing and engaging our communities across social channels for multiple brands including and not limited to The Avon Company and LG H&H.

You will report and work collaboratively with the Social Media Manager and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, create, edit & organize daily content using social media best practices, analytics & campaign/brand priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, pitch, produce and edit original, social-first photo and video content and franchises for multiple brands across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, YouTube Shorts & more
• Collaborate with the Social team to align concepts, briefs and shot lists to social media marketing calendar
• Manage content library, ensure final assets are organized and in the correct format for use across social channels
• Track and manage content production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries of all assets
• Edit owned and user generated assets within the content library to maximize and create new content from existing footage
• Analyze historical social media data and utilize a test-and-learn approach to content creation to identify top-performing content formats for multiple brands
• Stay current on all social media platform updates and relevant trends, make recommendations on how to best optimize brand content performance
• Forward real-time content ideas based on what is happening across social and in the beauty community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of experience in social media content creation or production role for a brand or agency
• Must be located in NYC; Hybrid schedule
• Experience in the beauty industry a plus
• Self-motivated demonstrating a high level of initiative and ability to work productively on multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Experience presenting on camera and comfortable doing so
• You have produced and edited short-form video content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Proficiency with Adobe and other editing tools
• Motion graphics and/or illustration experience a plus
• You keep up with the social media trends, popular culture, and marketing developments
• Ability to travel as needed
• You enthusiastically create thumb-stopping content and engage communities through social content in service of brand and business goals
