WELCOME TO THE EMPIRE! Caesars Sportsbook & Casino is looking for a Social Media Producer to join our team! You are a crucial member of the team as you help to produce dynamic, social first content for our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.

BE HOLD! The ideal candidate for this position has extensive knowledge of sports, online gaming, entertainment, and how different genres of content feed into their respective sub-cultures. The candidate must have an exceptional eye for content aesthetics, trends, and overall what’s viral in the moment while thriving in a fast, deadline-driven timeline. You will be responsible for editing and curating Caesars Sportsbook & Casino’s social media feeds with relevant content surrounding sports, online gaming, hospitality and entertainment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Capture, produce and edit dynamic content optimized for social media.
• Use editing software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects to help bring video content to life as well as mobile content editing apps such as Splice, Unfold, and Mojo
• Edit photos and graphics using Adobe Photoshop around tentpole sports and property events.
• Have a mobile first approach to capturing content and an understanding of social media content best practices.
• Pitch, develop and execute new video concept ideas that are social forward.
• Work with contributing talent to develop social segment ideas and bite-sized content.
• Plan to edit and produce social media content for specific initiatives and tentpole events with a quick turn deadline in mind.
• Participate in broader strategic discussions regarding content and audience engagement.
• Collaborates with other departments and other key players to produce and execute content.
• Audit and maintain standards/guidelines on brand tone, voice, and curation content mix.
• Must have a positive attitude and the flexibility to work with several departments and personalities at all levels of the organization.
• Live cover events and activations as needed with best-in-class execution when it comes to social media marketing best practices.
• Delivers work on or before deadline.
  

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in social media or web-based content creation.
• Extensive passion and knowledge of sports, onling gaming, and social media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, starter knowledge of After Effects.
• Good editorial judgment and extensive knowledge of sports, news and current events, entertainment, and viral content.
• Organization skills that allow for multiple projects to be produced simultaneously.
• Positive and creative attitude with the ability to hit deadlines while working under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, paired with a self-starter attitude.
• An “always-on” mentality as the sports world is constant, with availability to work nights and weekends.
• Occasional travel required.

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, from property to property. Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
