Purpose & Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the process of taking market research and coming up with new, high-quality food and drink products that drive sales figures for the restaurant and other product lines for the organization. Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience throughout the new product development process, actively participate in all activities relevant to research and product development such as ideation, ingredient sourcing, formulation, bench top testing, pilot and plant trials, shelf life testing, artwork and labeling, packaging concepts and interacting with internal cross-functional teams, customers and suppliers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media content strategy that aligns with our brand image and values, while also increasing engagement, reach, and brand preference.
- Create and schedule social media posts on various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as likes, shares, comments, and followers, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and complaints across all platforms, including email, Google review, Yelp review, and social media platforms, in a timely and professional manner
- Interacts with customers via email, Google review, Yelp review, and social media platforms to provide support and information on our products or services.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the Customer Service knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Collaborates with other departments, such as restaurant operation, to ensure customer satisfaction and brand consistency.
- Maintains our online reputation and responds to online reviews and ratings.
- Prepares and distribute press releases and other PR materials as needed.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Maintains customers accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Analysis statistics and compile accurate reports.
- Performs other related duties as assignedt
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing and customer relations
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and functional tools.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part as a team.
Physical demands:
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Ability to bend and lift occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
Work environment:
- Work will be conducted in an office environment
- May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area
- May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
- Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
