The Role

Social Media Specialist– Thermaltake North America

As the social media specialist, you will play a primary role in distributing content in a platform-first approach. You will play a key role in being the voice of the company – Tweets, Reels, Tiktoks and more are your life passions! As part of a new team, you will have a key role in crafting workflow and innovation. This position assists the Marketing and Customer Service Teams with all matters involving digital asset distribution across socials. This role will have complete ownership of all social media channels and content. You will also track and prioritize deadlines while acting as the go-to resource for the supporting teams. You must flourish with innovation, working to inspire a multifunctional team with an approach that adopts partnership, collaboration, mentorship, open communication and diversity. This position reports to the Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Manager. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the North America social media strategy after conducting driven research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification

- Be the “eyes and ears” of Thermaltake social to listen, engage and learn how we can continue to improve relationships with our brand's fans and followers

- Utilize social media monitoring tools to analyze and report on community insights and ROI

- Help to plan, create, publish and share compelling content (including video, animation, photography, blog/editorial, short form videos and other content) daily that builds substantial customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the Thermaltake brand

- Create social media calendars and schedule posts

- Encourage greater social media participation and employee advocacy

- Take lead in the day-to-day operation of our social platforms, their content and performance

- Coordinate social content publishing, community engagement and response management and reporting across all social accounts

- Be informed of digital and social market trends, providing inspiration and thought leadership on ways to engage customers and fans

- Support industry and influencer strategies and implementation

- Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of social to inform our social strategy, drive social media metrics and understand social media impact

- Willingness and ability to adapt to/create for new digital functions (communications, content, etc.) should the need emerge (i.e. the next TikTok, etc.)

- Build knowledge of and utilize paid-social, how it’s planned, the metrics and analytics involved, including running ads

- Assist Marketing team with any special projects (Events, Giveaways, Marketing Campaigns, Email Blasts etc) and any required creative asset needs.

- Other special projects as assigned

Current platforms utilized by Thermaltake North America:
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Discord, Twitch

Basic Qualifications

- Four year bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or Communications Preferred) or equivalent work experience

- Marketing team experience with brand and/or marketing agency, consumer marketing, marketing communications and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products preferred

- Knowledge of the digital creator landscape and/or technology is a plus

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Additional Qualifications

- Knowledge of social media platforms and the specifics of creating and delivering for them

- Photography experience a plus

- Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines

- Proficient with Outlook e-mail/calendar, Zoom, Adobe, OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Suite, Google Docs & Sheets

- Commitment to stay on top of industry trends, competitor insights, and measurement to provide well-informed recommendations to team members

- Must be very organized with computer assets and digital files as well as file extension requirements

- Possess strong decision-making skills and can operate with significant autonomy and discretion

- Creative problem solver with strategic and analytical prowess

- Detail oriented with strong project management skills

- Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient on PC operating systems; PC building and technical knowledge a strong plus

- Ability to win trust and have positive relationships with all levels of team members

- Operate with discretion and exercise good judgment when handling confidential information

Work Environment

- Must be willing to work and travel to events during evening and weekend hours, as required (company covered)

- Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds; generally involving computer systems and event setups

- This position is not Remote

- Job Type - Full Time Monday – Friday (9AM – 5:30PM)
