Social Worker (PRN)

Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent training and care to members? Are you a socially perceptive, empathetic person with a heart for implementing positive change? If so, consider joining our Behavioral Health team as a Social Worker.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Collaborating with other professionals to evaluate patients’ medical or physical condition and assessing client needs
• Advocating for clients or patients to resolve crises
• Referring patient, client, or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and providing access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education
• Investigating child abuse or neglect cases and taking authorized protective action when necessary
• Counseling clients and patients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome dependencies and recover from illness

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

• Master’s degree in social work required
• Current AR MSW or LAC (Licensed Mental Health Professional)
• 2-4 years of experience in social work or in a related area
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures the social work field
