Position Title: Software/Mendix Developer

Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer

Status: Exempt – Full-time

Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected annual salary range for this California position will range from $72,000 - $155,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Summary

GITSIT Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. Using Microsoft C#, Java and low code application platforms (Mendix), the selected candidate will be involved in all facets of software development (functional and technical specification, design, development, implementation, testing, and deployment) to build and support data-driven web and mobile applications.

• Develop and support windows and web applications.
• Enhance and drive existing database development practices and processes towards best practices
• Demonstrate competence in delivering high quality code and troubleshooting software problems.
• Able to work effectively, independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in software development experience.
• Experience building web applications from scratch.
• Working experience with the following core technologies: C# or Java, JavaScript, Web Services, API integration and SQL.
• Proficiency with data models, database structures and relational database.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Mortgage Servicing, Real Estate and/or Financial Industry experience preferred
• Low code/Mendix development experience is a plus.
• Startup and agile/iterative development experience a plus
• At least initially, must be available to work in the office during standard business days (Monday – Friday) and normal business hours.
