Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Quartus and eTools development team as a Software Engineer where you will research, design, develop, and optimize EDA software tools that enable the use of our eASIC devices.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, design, develop, and optimize EDA software tools that enable the use of eASIC devices

  • Development and implementation of DFT (Design-for-Test) solutions to support Intel eASIC architecture

  • Development of Clock Tree Synthesis solutions for eASIC architecture

  • Development of chip Floorplanning tools

  • Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Qualifications


Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience or

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

6 plus years’ experience in software development in C/C++.

6 plus years’ experience in algorithm and data structure experience

4 plus years’ experience in EDA software development

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with ATPG tools, Scan insertion tools, logic simulation, and timing analysis.

Experience with Verilog or VHDL design languages.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $139,480.00-$209,760.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
