Applied Technical Services is currently seeking a Software/Workflow Implementation Assistant for a contract position. Candidate will help in job duties as we rollout a new laboratory information management system for calibration. This person will take direction from a supervisor responsible for the software rollout and work directly with end user communities as required to maintain a well-informed channel of communication during this period. This person will be responsible for helping identify requirements derived from an initial deployment to select areas of the business. Results from test scenarios will further guide customization and configuration of the software environment which this person will address with some of the experiences and skills outlined below with the guidance of the supervisor and other team members. This person will also participate in the evaluation and assist with forms of migration to effectively understand the system. As migration to the new system evolves, other tasks may rise to the surface for this person. This person will gain a tremendous amount of knowledge about calibration through this contract position and have exposure to different components of the ATS Family of businesses. While not expected, there may be a need to work outside normal business hours to accommodate end users in another time zone for short periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Working with development leader to ensure workflow, automation, and reporting is sufficient for production environment.
- Development will be in an emersed IndySoft commercial calibration lab software environment with linkages to other systems/peripherals.
- Data migration, training, and deployment of software in other ATS Family locations.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of paid work experience in calibration, engineering, information technology, or strict programming capacity.
- College Degree in related Engineering or Computer Science field.
- Knowledge of Calibration Laboratory Processes and Automation.
- Verbal & Written Communication with teaching talents.

- Google Blockly, Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, SQL, and Pascal
Location/Travel:
- Work at the Marietta headquarters location using Microsoft Teams or Zoom where needed to communicate with remote contacts.
- Travel not likely to exceed 10% when necessary for site specific tasks during development or rollout of new functions.
