POSITION SUMMARY:

Kasselman Solar is seeking a skilled and motivated General Laborer to join our team. This is a full-time position that includes the opportunity for career advancement and paid training to become a certified solar technician.

Responsibilities:

• Trenching
• Landscaping
• Excavation, backfill and grading
• Responsible to bring landscape back to rough grade
• Working on a roof
• Load and unload tool, equipment and material on a daily basis from truck and trailers
• Operating power tools, such as drills, saws, and impact drivers
• Assisting with the installation of solar panels, racking systems, and other solar equipment
• Assisting with the wiring and electrical connections of solar equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area by following safety protocols
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be comfortable with heights and working on a roof
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• OSHA 10 required before starting date

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to meet physical demand of the job
• Basic construction experience preferred but not required

Pay:

The hourly rate for this position starts from $18/per hour
