The Procurement team helps maximize value from Multitude Bank’s vendor relationships so the stakeholders have the goods and services they need to succeed. You will act as a Sourcing lead and deliver projects in all aspects of the sourcing process, from category assessment, vendor due diligence, running RFx’s, conducting contract negotiations, and managing vendors. The anticipated result of these activities is cost savings opportunities and overall better service for the organization as a whole. You will provide expertise to the team as well as influence category strategies to address internal business needs in various categories. Categories in scope will include but are not limited to IT (hardware, software, services), marketing, corporate professional services (consulting, audit, finance), facilities, contingent workforce, etc.
The Sourcing Manager will act as the procurement partner to businesses that you will actively support. Key accountabilities include developing sourcing strategies and programs aligning with strategic objectives; enhancing vendor relationships; ensuring commitments are fulfilled to meet internal client’s needs; presenting recommendations and collaborating with senior management and business unit leads. We are seeking an individual who has a strategic mindset and is willing to challenge the status quo to build better efficiencies for the organization as a whole.
Requirement:
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of client business objectives and support in creating an annual category strategy and procurement roadmap;
- Participate in financial planning and budget development and execution, detailing expected sourcing activity and results for assigned categories;
- Benchmarking and identifying key industry trends, which impact assigned categories and/or other products/services as assigned;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and lead cross-functional teams through major/complex sourcing initiatives, planning & execution of the RFx process, leading commercial negotiations, and delivering results;
- Ensuring all sourcing initiatives include requirements to maximize purchasing power and leverage;
- Providing expertise and guidance to business stakeholders from a sourcing perspective to support and facilitate informed decision-making;
- Managing vendor selection with a rigorous evaluation process and providing analytics to ensure informed decisions. Accurate and detailed monthly reporting of sourcing opportunities and achieved savings;
- Work closely with internal partners and cross-functional teams (including Legal, Audit, Finance, and Procurement Operations,) to support internal stakeholders with the end-to-end procurement life cycle;
- Implement effective strategic sourcing methodologies and vendor management best practices;
- Develop a network of both internal and external peer relationships and affiliation to related professional organizations. Leading and driving continuous improvement within the source-to-pay organization;
- Managing and optimizing vendor performance, including contract compliance, continuous improvements, innovation, and reducing the total cost of ownership;
- Maintaining sound knowledge of industry dynamics, vendor business, and pricing models within the category;
- Actively support the building and enhancement of processes, policies, tools, and capability within the procurement function.
Skills and Knowledge:
- A high degree of business ethics and accountability;

- Exceptional team leadership and communication skills;
- Deep understanding of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management best practices;
- Recognized as having broad or advanced knowledge related to in-scope categories with a focus on Technology, Professional Services, Banking, Human Resources, Real Estate, etc…
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture;
- Ability to adopt an agile mindset with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced continually evolving environment;
- Ability to maintain perspective and confidence in face of difficult contract negotiations, tight deadlines, and client expectations;
- Ability to work under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment and consistently meet deadlines;
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities;
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and thinking outside the box;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, experience working with procurement ERP systems.
Academic/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Strategic Sourcing experience;
- bachelor’s degree in business/Commerce, MBA, LLB, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred;
- Professional designation in Supply Chain Management is preferred (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM, or equivalent);
- A global mindset is required, and global experience is preferred.
