Spa and Fitness Receptionist
Job description
Carmel Beach Hotel is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Spa Attendant/Receptionist. This candidate will need to have a friendly, professional demeanor, strong multi-tasking abilities, and exceptional organizational skills. Responsible for retail sales and stocking, scheduling, day-to-day cleaning, laundry organization, and upkeep of the spa and fitness studio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the general cleanliness of spa equipment and fitness studio equipment.
- Perform laundry and restocking duties as necessary.
- Tour and assist guests into the spa and fitness areas and maintain restocking and cleanliness.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping, and safety of work areas.
- Must have excellent and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
- The successful candidate must be self-motivated and can work independently or on a team.
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions and results.
- Possess the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Customer service is preferred and spa and retail experience is a plus.
Compensation Summary
Guaranteed base hourly rate, retail commission, and retail incentives.
