Job description

Be able to translate from English-Spanish, Spanish-English, or English-Portuguese, Portuguese-English.

The interpreter should be experienced on Subject matter of the briefings/presentations and discussions: military, governmental, politico-military, civil-military, cyberspace, infrastructure, information technology terminology and logistics.

Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak the same language by converting one spoken language to another.

Provide oral interpretation services for meetings, conferences, briefings, and other forms of voice communication requirements from a source language into the target language.

Demonstrate proficiency levels that range from the ability to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary, to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social and professional topics.

Maintain professional demeanor in presentation and communication style.

Follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information, and maintain client confidentiality pursuant to protocols established by the contract, HIPAA and industry standards.

Interpreters must have experience interpreting for Federal Agency, and must possess a thorough knowledge of logistics, political-military, counter-drug, counter-terrorism, logistics, and information technology terminologies.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
