The Office of Admission at Davis & Elkins College has an immediate opening for a Specialized Enrollment Advisor. The role of the specialized enrollment advisor focuses on recruiting health career students and international students. This specialized recruiter will be working with prospective students and their families toward the goal of enrollment at Davis & Elkins College. This also includes communicating the value of a D&E education to the students and their families. The minimum education requirement for this position is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.

The position requires the following:

• Recruiting health career students and international students
• Working closely with the Nursing Department and the Director of International Student Services
• Some travel
• Ability to communicate with prospective college students and their families
• Presentations to large and small groups
• Ability to manage time wisely to meet enrollment goals
• Work as a team member
• Work a non-traditional workweek
• Belief in the values and mission of the College to effectively recruit qualified and retainable students
• Extensive knowledge of electronic communications including texting, social media, and mobile app messaging as well as phone calls
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Organized reporting skills
• Ability to document and track contacts with recruits
• Timely responsiveness to students and supervisor
• A keen sense of urgency in managing tasks and time
• Special project assignments as necessary
