Speech-Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education is local provider of Speech-Language Pathology services in Chicago, IL. Our services in the City of Chicago focus on providing the highest quality of care for students in charter schools who likely won’t receive Speech Therapy through other means and rely solely on AnthroMed Education’s team of Clinicians to receive speech services each year.

A Charter School in North Lawndale is seeking a full-time SLP to join their team for the 2022-2023 School Year to support K-8th grade students. The Diverse Learning Team is a passionate team dedicated to the individualized educational success of each student!

What you can expect working with AnthroMed Education:

  • Partner with a network of Speech Language Pathologists from local schools across the community. We offer any time caseload support, a flourishing materials database, and live CEU presentations throughout the year with renowned SLP practitioners
  • Weekly paid salaries- that's a consistent paycheck throughout the entire school year
  • $150 quarterly stipend
  • All holidays, institute days, and school breaks including winter and spring break are paid for in addition to Personal Paid Time off days.
  • 100% of ISBE, IDFPR and ASHA dues are paid for by AnthroMed Education
  • Clinical Fellowship Program: CF-Supervisor is provided, and we ensure all segments needed to obtain your Certificate Clinical of Competence are met

About the Speech-Language Pathologist Position:

  • Full-Time Position for the 2022-2023 School Year
  • Support a K-8th grade student population at two school buildings. The buildings are split between K-4th grade and 5th-8th grade
  • The SLP will always be in one building the full day, no need to worry about moving between buildings during the day
  • Caseload is approximately 50 students - Mild to Moderate disabilities:
  • Articulation, phonological, expressive/receptive and language delays
  • A few students may utilize AAC devices

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from Communication Sciences and Disorders program
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Passion for contributing to team-oriented, mission-driven school culture
  • Optimistic, motivated, and adaptable
