Position Summary
In coordination with the Fitness and Wellness Manager, The Sports & Conditioning Camp Coach will design and lead a fitness program for youth, ages 12-15, to develop skill-related fitness for a variety of sports. They will provide instruction and demonstration for groups of up to 25 kids. The camp will help youth to develop strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, balance and reaction time. The Coach will lead fitness related activities both indoors and outdoors.

These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to work and communicate with youth and parents professionally
- Must be able to record and communicate the progressive development of each participant
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Recognize and respond to emergencies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Extensive fitness programming knowledge
Required Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
- Personal Training Certification, or an equivalent program-specific certification (ie. CSCS)
- Additional training is required to work with youth participants
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching youth in sports or fitness related activities
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm
The duration of this position is from June 12th, 2023 to August 18th, 2023 (9 weeks). *excluding the week of July 3rd

Hourly Rate
The hourly rate for this position is $20.000-$50.00.
