The primary role of the Sports Technician is to assist the physical therapist with a patients plan of care. It is also to lead and grow the sports performance program for Return to throwing, Return to sport, Injury Prevention for the Overhead Athlete, ACL Injury Prevention, and Performance Enhancement Programs. This individual will proactively continue to develop these programs, provide exceptional patient care, and communicate regularly with other members of the Summit team.
Job duties are not limited to, but do include:
- Serve as sports performance lead and a physical therapy tech at one of our flagship facilities
- Assist with patient care as a member of the physical therapy team within practice guidelines
- Develop sustainable sports performance and wellness programs
- Continue our injury prevention, performance enhancement, and return to sport programs
- Utilize motion analysis and kinematic sequencing technology to improve outcomes, drive the bio-feedback loop, and provide patient/community education.
- Educate the community on the benefit and outcomes from preventative and post-rehab care
- Collaborate with various divisions of our team from administration, clinical, and marketing
- Be a part of one of the most dynamic private practices in the Chattanooga area!!
Qualifications:
- Experience in sports
- Fitness Professional
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Verifiable past of getting things done
