Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and secure SQL database systems.
• Create and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate database functionality into applications.
• Work closely with data analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database structures.
• Perform data modeling and schema design to support business needs and application requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data quality checks and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
• Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, schema diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in SQL development and database management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database concepts.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,262.12 - $123,395.71 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Informatica: 1 year (Required)
• SQL: 1 year (Required)
• Data warehouse: 1 year (Required)
