Summary:
The Scotts company is seeking a passionate, inventive, and results-driven team member to assist in expanding our integration platform. Our EDI team strives to automate all global partner transactions, and you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal. As a team member, you will be responsible for maintaining EDI technical standards, identifying integration needs, and improving the efficiency of our B2B/EDI communications and integrations. You will evaluate system and business process requirements and design integration solutions to automate business process execution. In addition, you will collaborate with business teams and suppliers/customers to identify new offerings and enhance the B2B/EDI integration process, current offerings, and data quality. To succeed, the ideal candidate must possess expertise in various technical, analytical, and communication skills. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining the Scotts EDI specifications, supplier configurations, and mapping.
Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day production support for Scott's business operations
-
Build integration solutions to automate business processes, using a variety of integration technologies
-
Develop and maintain Scott's B2B/EDI specifications, mapping, and technical integration artifacts, as well as supplier/customers configurations
-
Automate all B2B/EDI transactions with upstream suppliers and downstream customers
-
Collaborate with all business teams to understand their integration requirements and build solutions for automation
-
Onboard new trading partners to support business needs
-
Propose and drive initiatives to improve integration technologies and processes
-
Build standard solution templates for different business use cases
-
Deliver timely, accurate and professional technical support and information internally and externally, including real-time support, communication, escalation, reporting, defect tracking and root cause analysis of outage events

Maintain a high level of attention to detail, work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment
-
Use an analytical approach to problem-solving and have a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
-
Have scripting experience in one or more technologies, such as Linux and Python
-
Troubleshoot complex EDI failures, work with external EDI partners, and test interconnected systems and onboarding trading partners
-
Proactively identify, implement and manage process improvements and agile solutions within the functional area
-
Participate in cross-functional discussions/initiatives to anticipate and mitigate issues and achieve required outcomes within required timeframes

Provide on-call support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
-
At least 8+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, implementing integration solutions for B2B, with experience in Sterling Integration Migration/Upgrade
-
3+ years of direct supervisory/management experience in information technology
-
3+ years of experience in Sterling Integrator Administration
-
3 years of relevant experience in developing IDocs in SAP and setting up ALE partners and EDI relationships with external business partners (required)
-
Ability to work with X12, iDocs, flat file, and XML maps
-
Ability to configure various communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, HTTPs, etc.

Specific knowledge of the following EDI transactions: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 852, 204, 990, 210, and 214
-
5+ years of experience working on Business process development (BPML)
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field or a combination of technical skills, management skills, and application integration background
-
3+ years of Oracle working experience and understanding the process between SBI and Oracle
-
Excellent communication and customer focus skills to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
