In the role of
Sr. Construction Coordinator working in
Golden, Colorado you will be part of the
Tech Services. You will perform and coordinate repairs for recovering from emergency shutdowns. Promptly and effectively obtains internal and Contractor resources, and individually participates and contributes. Manages Contractor and personal work quality and productivity such that the safety, reliability, functionality, and efficiency of existing assets are maintained.
This position reports to
Process Lead.
The Responsibilities:
- Proactively prepares for planned shutdowns, such as BioCleans, Pit Stops, projects, and other scheduled shutdowns. Creates a work list and plan, acquires the Contractor manpower and materials, coordinates the workflow with other organizations, supervises the Contractor's work crews, monitors work progress and quality, and expedites where needed.
- Serves as the main contact point for Construction work on projects involving enhancement of current assets, and the addition of new assets.
- Ensures that all Contractors meet applicable federal, state, local, and Coors EH&S regulations, codes, and requirements, including those incorporated by reference within other regulatory documentation, and personally sets the example for proper behavior in these areas.
The Other Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of related Industrial Construction experience or four years practical experience in an accredited and applicable industrial apprenticeship program
- Mechanical knowledge includes; welding, cutting, soldering, pipefitting, sheet metal, millwright, rigging, machine assembly and installation, machine alignment and tenant finish.
- Must be able to understand and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and design criteria. Must be proficient with Microsoft applications and SAP. Must be proficient in the operation of powered mobile equipment, shop machines, hand tools, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, meters, test instruments, etc.
- Position requires associate degree or equivalent knowledge and/or work experience. Must have basic math skills and constructive communication skills. Must hold certificate of competency in applicable field(s) - mechanical discipline - should be certified to applicable Coors' welding standards.
