About the Role
Join the Foundational IP Group in Intel's Technology Development Division, responsible for developing essential building blocks on Intel's advanced nodes. We're currently seeking a Senior Director to lead the development of GPIO/mixed-signal IP. This leadership role is based at Intel's Technology Division headquarters in Portland, Oregon, with additional locations worldwide. Our company's bold mission is to create world-changing technology that enhances the lives of every person on earth, and this role is critical in shaping the future of Intel’s foundry business.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and developing the team from the ground up.
- Direct and lead the team through various phases of design development from definition stage to volume productization.
- Interfacing with partner organizations.
- Managing interdependencies across multiple projects teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrating leadership in growing and developing leaders within the team to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:
- Interpersonal skills including written verbal and presentation communications
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Skilled at building and managing effective relationships with team members peers and customers
- Tolerance of an ambiguous environment with high motivation and results orientation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering OR a Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.- 15+ years of experience in VLSI design, development and productization.
- 10+ years of experience in leading technical teams and/or coordinating design execution.
- Strong skills in analog and/or Mixed signal circuit design
- Strong knowledge of Industry standard analog and mixed signal design tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- 20 years of experience in VLSI analog design with exposure to IO circuit design.
- 8+ years of experience in managing a technical team.
- 3+ years in a design director role

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
