This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr Software Engineer, Real-Time Applications, on the endovascular robotics team:

  • You will develop real-time software for remote robotics.
  • You will design and implement software using development best practices, including continuous software testing.
  • You will provide and maintain domain expertise of relevant software technologies and products.
  • You will utilize novel software technologies for real-time robotic controls.
  • You will generate software requirements documents, design specifications, and software test protocols.

  • Strong C, C++ skills required
  • Experience with an RTOS, such as QNX, required
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design and Analysis, with the use of UML required
  • Experience with real-time communication using field bus protocols, such as CAN and EtherCAT, preferred
  • Experience with TCP, UDP, IP preferred
  • Experience with device driver development preferred
  • Experience with image processing and video streaming/transmission preferred
  • Experience in GUI frameworks, such as Qt/QML preferred
  • Experience developing devices in a regulatory environment, applying standards such as ISO and IEC for SDLC preferred

Required for the success of this role

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or other related technical area required, MS preferred
  • 5+ years of experience developing real-time software required
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
