VCA Animal Hospitals is looking for an experienced full-cycle Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Veterinary Talent Acquisition Team to support our North Atlantic Group (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT).

In this role, you will recruit top-tier Veterinarians for our veterinary hospitals in the region. This challenging position requires a proven track record of managing the entire recruiting process and building relationships with hospital managers, Medical Directors, Regional Operations Directors, and other field leadership personnel.

As our ideal candidate, you'll be an aggressive sourcer, able to fill our positions with top talent. Your ability to communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers is crucial, as our hospital field teams are very active partners in the recruiting process. You'll be fully supported by our team of recruiters and have access to some of the best recruiting tools available.

This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate will reside in the region they support and be able to travel throughout the area to visit hospitals and interact with candidates. If you're ready for a challenge and want to make a real impact in the Veterinary industry, apply today!

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • At least 5 years of recruiting experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate experience with various sourcing tools and technologies.

PREFERENCES:

  • Physician sourcing/recruiting experience in the Veterinary or Human Healthcare industries.

  • Experience with Workday Recruiter ATS.

  • Expert level experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, database mining, Boolean search strings, cold calling, and targeted passive candidate sourcing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting resources and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent.

  • Source passive talent through referrals, networking, internet searches, cold calling, etc

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS.

  • Screen applicants for qualifications, availability, interest level, relocation needs, etc.

  • Attend and support both internal and external recruiting events.

  • Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations throughout the recruiting process.

  • Maintains networking contacts for sourcing/recruiting future applicants.

  • Responds to inquiries from the general public and prospective applicants regarding job opportunities and qualifications.

  • Promotes Employee Referral Program.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$110,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
