Your Team
This position will report directly to our Director of Finance. This Position will work the Eternal Ventures Dream Team and may also be responsible for part-time contractors.
Position Summary
This opportunity is suited only for a high-performing Staff Accountant with an acute focus on detail and proven ability to get things done cleanly, on time, consistently and reliably. The ideal person is someone who relishes being hands-on in all facets of accounting and finance including (but not limited to) overseeing and reconciling of financial transactions, financial reporting, payment processing, Accountants Payable, Accounts Receivable and payroll.
We are looking for a hands-on, self-starter to join our Finance Team as a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in preparing and driving a timely month-end close. Our Staff Accountant will be involved in a wide range of accounting processes, including general ledger preparation and key accounting projects.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to manage and execute the coordination or multiple projects within required timeframes and expectations; demonstrated excellence in communication skills; be able to inform both orally and in writing, and demonstrate the ability to perform detail-oriented task; interact, coordinate, follow up and effectively communicate with the Finance Team and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities __________________________________________________________________________
- Prepare entries to the company’s general ledger and maintain accounting sub-ledgers by verifying and properly posting account transactions.
- Prepare accruals, maintain schedules, including fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules.
- Support month and year end closing and audit processes.
- Perform other accounting related functions as appropriate

- Statement Reconciliations
- Invoice and Record Management
- Support the continued development of the company’s accounting policies and procedures including making the accounting process more efficient.
- Respond to inquiries from the finance team leadership and company managers.
- Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements and other internal/external financial reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 2 year of experience in general accounting
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong technical proficiency working in complex systems
- Communication proficiency
- Personal effectiveness, credibility, and high ethical conduct
- Time management and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
