Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews
- Manage and maintain client relationships, including preparing meeting documents and participating in client meetings
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on financial performance and trends, including identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change
- Assist with the preparation of actuarial reserve options and other financial analyses
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the finance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Quickbooks
- Knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
